Whether you are placed in a mainstream school with an SEN provision or a specialist setting, you will be part of a supportive culture that values flexibility, creativity, and care.Your new roleAs a Supply SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and support to pupils with additional needs on a short-term, long-term, or day-to-day basis. You will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and wider staff to support pupil progress.
- Manage behaviour effectively using positive and trauma-informed approaches.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and contribute to feedback where required.

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

- Have a sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Be passionate about inclusive education and committed to supporting every learner.
